The Nancy McDonald Rainbow Library opened at the Salt Lake City GLBT Community Center in 1999 and features more than 3,000 GLBT and non-GLBT titles in a range of fiction and non-fiction subjects. Books are loaned free of charge to members of the community. The library is named for Nancy McDonald,
a
long-time GLBT allied community activist. Nancy lives with her husband Joe in Salt Lake City. Donations of books and other learning materials are accepted from individuals and organizations at the library.
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday
